Leah J. Gleason grew up in Hastings, Nebraska before attending the University of South Dakota, where she received a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and Political Science degree. She then attended Creighton University where she obtained her Juris Doctor and Master of Science in Negotiation and Conflict Resolution degrees. At Creighton, Leah was the Editor in Chief of the Creighton International and Comparative Law Journal, Treasurer of the Student Bar Association, Vice President of Coaching Sessions for the Moot Court Board, and a member of the Third-Year Trial Team.
Leah is currently the Chair for the Solo and Small Firm Management Section of the Nebraska State Bar Association. She was previously in the inaugural class of Leadership Holdrege, and served on the board for TeamMates Mentoring Program. In her spare time, Leah likes to play tennis, read, and scrapbook.
Leah handles primarily criminal law, family law and juvenile law matters, including divorce, child custody, child support, adoptions, name changes, guardianships and conservatorships. She is also happy to consult with you regarding other types of matters including corporation formation and trusts. Leah is also a certified family law mediator, and is trained and able to handle all types of mediation.
