Tana M. Fye was born and raised in the Black Hills of South Dakota. She attended The University of South Dakota where she obtained Juris Doctor, Master of Public Administration and Bachelor of Arts degrees.
She first opened her law practice in Rapid City, South Dakota in 2010. She relocated to Nebraska with her husband, and reopened her law practice. Tana primarily practices in the areas of criminal defense, juvenile law, and public health law. She is happy to consult with you regarding other types of matters as well, including adoptions, guardianships, nonprofit organization law, and personal injury.
Tana serves as Co-Chair of the Rural Practice Section, and is active on the Legal Services Committee and the Juvenile Law Section of the Nebraska State Bar Association. She is also a member of the Commission on Children and the Courts, appointed by the Chief Justice of the Nebraska Supreme Court.
In her spare time, Tana plays cello in the Hastings Symphony Orchestra, drives (and occasionally drag races) her Pontiac GTO and enjoys traveling, scuba diving, and reading. She currently serves as President on the HelpCare Clinic Board. She previously served as President of the Holdrege Area Chamber of Commerce, and volunteered with and served on the boards for TeamMates and the Friends of the Library.
